Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan

The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is Shorewood's plan and guide to understanding and managing stormwater runoff in the city. This plan includes the city's Best Management Practices (BMPs), including education, public participation, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site runoff control, post-construction stormwater management, pollution prevention, and good housekeeping.

The SWPPP is a requirement of the MS4 Permit. MS4 stands for (Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer System).

Residents are encouraged to review and make comments on the plan.

Please call the city at 952-960-7900, or submit questions and comments.
