Election Judges
The City of Shorewood needs people for this exciting and vital work!
Every year, the City of Shorewood hires election workers to staff the city's 3 polling locations. Election workers are trained on the processes and procedures required by state and federal law to handle all aspects of voting at the polling place. Serving as an election worker is a chance to learn about elections and ensure that every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot safely, securely and efficiently

All election workers are required to attend training sessions either online or in person that cover the equipment you will use on Election Day, the various duties you may be asked to perform and all of the associated election laws and requirements that pertain to your job as an election worker. This training helps ensure that you understand what will be required of you on Election Day and that you are prepared to provide outstanding service to the voters in your precinct. You will be paid for your attendance at training.
Training takes place for each election and is conducted locally by election staff at the city of Shorewood. If you are hired as an election judge for the city, you will be contacted by the City Clerk to schedule election judge training.
