[ARCHIVED] Absentee voting for the General Election begins on Friday, September 20

Your next election is the General Election on November 5, 2024. All eligible voters may choose to vote before Election Day through absentee voting. Ballots for absentee voting are available 46 days before an election and can be submitted in person or by mail, instead of at a polling location.

When voting before Election Day, either in-person at city hall or through the mail, you must complete an absentee ballot application in order to receive a ballot, if you have not yet done so. To track your ballot, visit mnvotes.sos.mn.gov

For the 2024 General Election, you can vote before Election Day (November 5) at Shorewood City Hall September 20 – November 4, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday*. 

Extended hours for voting before Election Day at city hall are available on the following days:

  • Saturday, October 26, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 29, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 3, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • *Monday, November 4, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
